  • What it is: A Serverless Data Warehouse. This is for analytics, not for running apps. You dump massive amounts of data here (terabytes or petabytes) and run SQL queries to get insights. It is famous for being incredibly fast and requires zero server management.

  • Equivalents:

    • AWS: Amazon Redshift (specifically Redshift Serverless)

    • Azure: Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL Data Warehouse)
